Originally from the UK, Florence discovered her love of film making at the Prague Film School and moved to Australia to pursue the Film Making BA at VCA, Melbourne.
Florence graduated in 2011 having specialised in editing and as the NFSA Outstanding VCA Graduate of that year. She undertook further study at AFTRS to consolidate her technical skills and graduated from their Graduate Diploma Course in Editing in 2013.
Since then and through to now, Florence has cut music videos, doco and narrative shorts that have traveled extensively at international festivals, alongside cutting feature documentaries & much assembly editing. Her first narrative feature had its world premiere at the Sydney Mari Gras Film Festival this year.
She has also worked extensively as an editing consultant on others' projects, a task at which she particularly excels.
